My name is Rio. I’m am an active, loving and playful 18+ months young Great Dane/Boxer mix. I am deaf and learning commands from my foster family. I have a healthy appetite & enjoy snacks. I am crate trained and house broken.

I love to run around and play with humans, stuffed animal & balls. I also love car rides and water. I enjoy cooling off in my foster family’s pool. I am a curious boy and still need a bit more assistance in learning that things left out on the counter are not mine.

I would love to find a forever home with children or teenagers and other dog(s) whom I can snuggle with and play. My foster parents let me sleep with them at night but I do rest in a crate during the day when they are away. I think with more training I will learn to resist things from the counter and can hang out in the house and not a crate.
